Unique family ark, sleeping 4 with a separate bed room with a king sized bed, inside toilet, 2 single beds, large decking area with a personal cooking shelter.
Carol is a great host, she was very welcoming and friendly. The yurt was great, with proper comfy beds, the outside area was a nice touch too, we couldn't fault it, we had everything we needed for our stay.
The site only has a few units which was perfect, we were all nicely spaced out with only a short walk to the shower block.

All the good things about camping without the hassle of having to take everything with you! A clean and beautiful place to stay on the IOW. Limited numbers of accommodation make it a truly tranquil and special place to spend time! My daughter especially loved being so close to all the animals.

This was such an experience, an amazing place with a brilliant host. The attention to detail and personal touches made this a holiday to remember. Carol went above and beyond to make our family feel extremely welcome and attended to. Our children particularly loved being shown and learning about the animals. Highly recommend a stay, thank you again!

We had a lovely long weekend in Carol's yurt. It was lovely to meet Carol and her son, who were very friendly and helpful, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The yurt is in a large field, very peaceful with beautiful views - with pigs and turkeys as neighbours! Thank you Carol, we hope to return soon!

Our beautiful south facing site is set in the Isle of Wight countryside, we pride ourselves in providing a peaceful, clean and well kept site. Our unique pig arks came from an idea my son and I had one day when we were in one of our arks that the Gloucester Old spot pigs live in as it came on to rain but we were really cosy inside, we thought it would be fun to build an ark big enough to stand up in and maybe we could camp in it in the field.
We have fairly good imaginations so the idea grew and we chatted about it for a couple of years until Christmas 2015 when I bought my then 15 year old son some battery power tools and asked him to build me something with them. Luckily for me he is pretty good with tools and between us we built the family ark, it was such a hit with everyone in the summer of 2016, he built the couples ark over the winter of 2017/2018.
In 2020 we added our 2nd couples ark with a large wood fired hot tub.
Followed by our mini ark, 2nd family ark with hot tub and another couples ark again with a wood fired hot tub in 2021/2022.
Children are encouraged to run and play and enjoy the out doors lifestyle, as a fully enclosed site we allow pets. There are peddle tractors and out door toys for the children to share and lots of room to play with their new found friends.
Although we don’t have electricity on the site we do have toilets and a luxury shower unit. Whether you are coming to stay with little ones in the family arks or a romantic break in one of our couples arks we strive to make your stay a memorable one.
The site is over 9 acres with just 5 units, space, tranquillity and fun is on offer, with owls, hares, buzzards and bats to see, we keep rare breed pigs and often have piglets running around, plus chickens on site that the children can feed and help us collect the eggs. We enjoy the children staying on site coming to see the animals being fed and asking lots of questions.
We also farm Shetland cows. turkeys, bees and sheep which can often seen around the site during the summer, we sell our home produce at the site so a breakfast of fresh free range eggs, home made bacon , sausages and honey on toast can’t be beaten, we also have home made burgers for sale for the BBQ.
We are also close to the cosmopolitan town of Cowes and just minutes away from beaches and beautiful walks.
The Island has something for everyone, with historic houses, beautiful beaches, forest and down walks, a couple of theme parks (Isle of Wight style) and a great Heritage Railway to name just a few things to do, nowhere is very far and most places can be reached in 20-30 minutes.
